Super Jet Stock pole length please

Could someone please measure the length of a stock RN Superjet pole?
I am looking for a straight-line measurement from the center of the pivot bolt hole to the center of the steering plate hole.

Some other threads suggest this:

approx. 40 1/2 from the pivot center line to the end of the steering mount.

38.5 pivot to pivot if you sting the tape in a straight line.....

My so-called -2" xmetal poles both measure 37.5" pivot to pivot

You see where I am confused.
I am trying to figure out where my SF pole is compared to other poles.
I measure 38 inches center to center, straight line.
