Super Jet steering ?

id like to put a short turn plate on my ski. im pretty sure id like to get the blowsion short turn plate that will allow the use of the"V" bars, mainly for cost reasons. my question is does the turn plate stud press out of the stock turn plate? if so how do i do it as there is only a small threaded hole on the top of the turn plate where the stud is.
i wouldnt imagine the threads would hold if i used a bolt to thread in there and press out?

i guess it does not matter now as the threads on the stud and the nut are both stripped out due to using an impact and spacer to try and pull it off.... so for future reference to any body that needs to know, from what Ive learned the stud is most likely pressed in but is not re-usable or mine is just in there relay good. :shrug:

That small threaded hole is for that little plastic doohickey that holds the throttle cable and start/stop wiring tidy under the chinpad.
