Spider in my hand pole.

So Im installing my new to me hand pole. Clearing out cob webs from the mounting area not really looking in the pole at the tube where the wires go in... I do look in and see a black widow. It has the Hour glass on it. I almost sharted my pants.

They are cute, just look into her eyes, all 8 of them.
A perfect pet. Don't take up much space, doesn't bark in the middle of the night, no need for a "Popper scooper", loyal (unless you are the male) and help control pesky insects.

Next time you big, tough standup riders need rescuing from a snake, just come find me, I'll save you and won't need to kill the snake, either. Snakes are cool and are a vital part of our ecosystem. Would you rather be overrun with rats and mice? I'd bet that either of those popping out of a cabinet would make any of you tough guys scream like a school girl!
