Speedwerx pipe alingment?

4th SW dry pipe never had one off this far on the upper brackets. The 2 pics are with the flywheel cover bolt attached per Speedwerx's directions. Is my only option to slot these?

Wow, that one is way off for sure.

I heard they had changed their jig and the ones prior to that were normally way off, but that looks like the later bracket so it doesn't make sense.

I didn't run the flywheel cover mount on mine, just the top and never really had issues---just make sure you have a girdled head.

hmmmmmmmmm, is your coupler too long forcing the pipe back some or is this without the coupler.

I am thinking the SW that I had a custom bracket on it. May have been because of this, I still had to slot it a good bit.

Your's was the early design I mentioned.

Do a dry fit with just the head mounts, no couplers on either end of the chamber and no flywheel mount either.

That's what I did, then slotted it to match the holes, plus cut the stinger off and reattached it with a short section of hose at an angle to mate up with the exhaust elbow better.

I just talked to Speedwerx. They said they only ever had one jig to weld the pipes.

Strange, I was the first person to get a freestyle dry pipe from them and was told they had changed the jigs like a year or two earlier because I mentioned how my buddy's race pipe didn't fit too well. That was like 6 years ago though...

I took the coupler off and got the mounts to line up on the head. I had to drill a new hole for the flywheel cover lord mount. It fits good now. Thanks for all the input.
