Spark plug holders/keepers

What are they called? The plastic pieces that grab the top of the plug and the other end clips to the bottom so they won't slip off? I cannot find them, maybe because I don't know what they are called.. thanks

Ahh yes that is what i need...Ive got some ngk boots that won't stay on.
Damn they are some expensive pieces of plastic!!

Junk those NGKs and get some MSD caps, they are way better! I ordered a boot kit on Ebay for a V8 car for under $20. I'm pretty sure you need the MSD boots to use those retainers anyway.

Are the yamaha wires like kawasaki where a pin in the boot pushes into the middle of the wire to make the connection?

i have the same problem, i normally take a pair of needle nose and slightly bend in the metal piece inside the cap. It may be a little ghetto, but my plugs don't pop off as much as they used to...

i guess i just haven't gotten around to getting some spark plug retainers...although i will eventually i'd suppose

Ive been zip tying the bottom of the plugs (rubber) then putting them on the plugs. Holds longer but they still come off.

Your NGKs have a little screw/pin thing like that, the MSDs are crimped on.

x2....been working like a charm. I just use the little zip ties so they squeeze into the plugs grooves.

My OEM's never come off and they came with the ski.

my msds are suction cups. I fill like im going to break the wires when taking the boot of the plug. Maybe its some JSS Magic voodoo
