Super Jet so, my b-pipe is installed but...

Location
Oregon
I installed my limited chamber b-pipe in to my RN, and I'm thinking this is a problem. My waterbox is already pushed about 3/4" forward on the left side which is causing the right side to come backward and make it even more difficult to get the fuel tank in and out. Do you guys normally have to trim some length off of this elbow? Everything seems to be in correct location (the headpipe and chamber seem to be mated together well, as far as I can tell) but I'm nervous to start cutting on this elbow. I'm thinking something has to be wrong here? I'm estimating at least 3/4" would need to be trimmed off of the elbow to get the waterbox to sit square and remove this restrictive kink in the elbow. Any help?
