SN parts for RN

relay is a go
pump is a no go unless you change the drive shaft
intermed shaft is the same from sn to rn but the 90 -93 housing is different than the 94-10
scoop grate is the same
ride plate will work but has different size bolts so you will need to drill sn out tof fit rn
also sn has 4 bolt insted of 6

I used the complete pump and shaft from my 90SN into my 98RN with no problems. The shaft from the VXR is a different length. And if you use an older pump then it will have that funky hose siphon thing on it. No biggie, works just fine, just looks funny.

Almost ALL of the SN parts work. You will have to cut the exhaust tube shorter, and heat the end to slip it on. I ran mine that way for a season and ended up just using a piece of black pvc with a couple couplers instead.

Mid shafts from the 94SN + will work in the RN.
Water box will also work.
Scoop grate - same
Ride plate will work, but the bolt size is different as mentioned so you might have to hog the holes in your plate out just a tick.
Electronics - same... just make sure the fw and stator are a match.

Like I said, the whole swap was pretty easy and I would say I was able to use about 90% of the SN parts.

Can I get a mid shaft and housing from a RoundNose, which has the bigger bearing, and put it in a '93 SquareNose? I want to run A/M couplers one day and would like to do this swap.
I think it would, but want to be sure.

You can still run AM couplers.
What you need is the 90-93 bearing carrier and a 93 and up (larger thread) shaft.
Early and later mid shafts are identical except for the threaded area.
