Super Jet SN hood tubes hitting carbs

Ok, I have a 91 SN and I have duel carbs and the rear tube hits the front FA. I was wondering if there is a way without chopping and modifying the outside of the hood to move the tubes. Can I just glass over the ports and drill another one in the front liner? Any ideas or help would be great

You'd be better off riping out the liner and making a new one.
If done carefully, the outside of the hood won't even get a scratch.
