SJ frustrated

Hey does anyone know anybody near Fresno, the Central Coast or the surrounding areas that would be willing to help me out with my super jet. I am not the most mechanically inclined person but I know a little bit. A few months ago I put a factory b pipe on but I can't get the damn thing tuned right. I am getting very frustrated with it. I just want someone with a little knowledge to help me out with it. If you or someone you know is interested and it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg please let me know. Thanks

It has been rejetted and I have followed the FPP specs. All the water lines are properly ran and everything is put together correctly. I feel that the pipe install is very basic, but I have exhausted all my efforts with the damn thing.

Dustin,

I went thru this last year.

people here are willing to help, but the problem is EVERY boat setup up will differ eslightly depending on water pressure, the line routing, the pisser size, all that.

the pressure and volume of water in the cooling system is very particular on the B pipe to get it to run well.

here is what I went thru to get mine to run as it should.

basically, you MUST have good water pressure at the headpipe for the adjuster screws to work. ( otherwise, they dribble instead of mist I guess)

from that, everyone has a preference, top screw, bottom screw..

I ended up with top and mid closed, bottom JUST barely cracked, like less than one turn, not too hot on the pipe or chamber ( I tuned and checked with a temp gun) and it melted hoses until I added a BIT more water, and its been stable for the last several tanks of gas.

and its FINALLY making good power.
