I am looking to put dual carbs on the ol' purple and white. Besides the manifold, what else is needed to run the dual 38mm? The only real mod to the motor is a Factoy B pipe.
I got a 61x with a 46sbn that's hits harder than alot of dual carb 62t setups I've rode. Feels a bit snappier imo. In fact I have 62t cases and dual carbs sittin on the shelf I don't find the need to run.
The wetjet carb/mani/reeds is the hot ticket for the 61x. Although I would bet getting Jetworks to blackjack your stocker would also be a good route to take.
I don't think the kraze setup is worth it. I believe the 10hp gain also has to do with the west coast head and pipe it comes with. Those intake setups go for 300 to 350$
I have a set of 38's and a protec intake mani on my 61x blaster. It really woke that ski up. You guys that claim duals don't make good power are nuts. Just gotta get em tuned in right.
