Single 46 in an SXR? Anyone running it?

Curious about this potential setup. I have a 750 bored 2 over in my X2 making it 779cc, 82mm pistons, same size as a stock SXR. My single Mikuni 46 is a great setup for this and very efficient. Wondering if anyone has had success with a single carb setup.

I have a single Mikuni 46 on my stock SXR about 2 weeks now and I love it. You know I’m from Germany and at the moment we pay for one liter gas about 1.93$ so with the mono carb I don’t need much. We are trying me and a friend of mine to find out the best jetting for it… I’m not a racer I have my SXR just for fun :bananapowerslide: I will post some pics later!!!

Imi-step - For my Kawasaki 779 setup (Factory Pipe, Jetinetics flywheel, SXR prop) and my single Mikuni 46, I use 2.3 needle and seat, 115 gram spring, 120 low and 165 high for the jets. 1 1/4 turn out on low and 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 out on high for tuning. This is from Art at Jetworks. Don't know if this will work for you, but may be a start.

Runs great, I was curious on how it would run on an SXR. You say you love it, is there any noticeable difference from the duel setup?
