Super Jet Shredmaster rideplate on a Superjet

I recently picked up a used Shredmaster rideplate/scoop combo for my '07 Superjet. I think I may have one of the "experimental" long tail versions. If so, I want to cut it down. Can someone with a short tail Shredmaster plate on their Superjet take a measurment for me. If you drew a line from the rearmost mount bolt to the rearmost mount bolt then measure from that line to the end of the tail.

I guess an easier way to measure would be from the end of the hull at the point the plate meets the hull to the end of the plate. That make sense?
