I seem to remember there was a security loophole in the shoutbox that could not be fixed.

If there is a security issue, moving it to a different server just means you put that one at risk.
I looked around and didn't see anything that really stood out. Shoutboxes are a very high server load feature so they normally only work for smaller boards.

To bad, the shout Box was cool! I think it mellowed everyone out.... you could get to know people better too.
theres always the chatroom that nobody uses anymore. we should have a regular chat again.
