Super Jet sealing starter motor

I have a 62 t with a leaky starter seal. The orings on the starter are good, however, the fit in the cases is a little sloppy and allow water to enter the front cover area. Any tips on a sealant I can use?

ive used silicone or 1211 both with success.....mostly black sillycone

I prefer 1211 because of its superior chemical resistance

Exactly what I use. My flywheel area is dry and clean, even after a salt water sinking.
