Rough Carbon Fiber

Hey Guys....Im in the middle of doing a build on my 01 Superjet....Well, I reinforced with carbon fiber all the way around and after it got all done dryin, the carbon is really rough, like a really coarse grit sand paper....Does anyone have any ideas to smooth it out at all? Lay more resin on top? Not really sure but I would just like it a little more smooth so im not scratchin the hell outta my hands when im workin on the inside. Ideas anyone?

lay a little more resin on top, and squegee out all the excess. After that dries it will not be perfectly smooth to the touch like if you touch a visual carbon piece (ie hood, nose piece, ride plate), but it will be completely sealed. The less resin the stronger the re enforcment. This was the advice TC gave me this last weekend.
