RN top deck replacement worth it??

So I have a 2003 rn hull sitting in my garage and was thinking of shorting it and reinforcing is it worth getting an xft or wcf top deck to save weight if so how much weight would I save.

Do it on a square hull that you pick up for like $200. THe only reason to do one on a rn hull is if the top deck is completely beat, in other words if the side of the ski is pushed in, bond line is cracked, hood lip is held together by the hood seal, etc. If you do a top deck conversion your ski will be between 25lbs and 30lbs lighter than a stock hull and that weight difference is noticeable when your on the water. My ski was 78lbs after the top deck was bonded, a stock roundnose hull was 105 or 110(not sure exactly but between those two).
