RN chin pad repair

Does anyone have advice on how to repair or reuse a stock 1999 chin pad? The tabs that attach to the handle pole are both broken. Thanks.

There's not much you can do except zip ties, sheet metal and rivets. I would suggest looking into a composite one from @TOBY.
