So I have been using this Rinse Kit for the past 3 months and I'm loving it. I don't keep my skis where I live. I rent a decent sized garage in a small 6 apartment building about 7 blocks from my place. I don't start my skis at my garage unless I have too. I ride 95% salt and needed a way to flush my skis without being disrespectful to the tenants of the building.
I found this kit at Rip Curl for $89.99 and it solved all my problems. It is battery-less and is a pressurized ball. Hooks up to your sink and hose. The sink fitting from them is expensive but you can make it for less. Fills the 2 gallons of water in 25 seconds.
I have been flushing my skis right after I pull them out of he ocean. I get a bout 3 1/2 to 4 minutes out of the rinse kit. It's also great to use the shower attachment and rinse the ski off too.
I was able to rig up a back flush kit at the local hardware store for $9.99 with the help of a friend. The rinse kit alone is only $89.99. It makes flushing a ski so convenient to do it at the beach or launch ramp.
If you're in an urban setting like me, this is a great product to buy. It can be used for many different applications. It's also great for those of us that drive far for some of the freerides like Pismo, Surf Slam and Grayland. You can flush your ski before the long drive back.
My only regret is I didn't buy the black one.
