rev footholds in sxr

so i am doing my first foothold/turf install so go easy on me heres some pics....i had a little issue fitting them in but it worked itself out

Have u ever rode a SXR w/mashers footholds in it? Thats what I have and am curious as to how your new footholds work/feel. Main reason I went w/mashers is I SUCK at glassing and was able to epoxy and rivet the mashers in real easy. But I must say-u r doin a GREAT job-lookin good!!!:hail: oh yeah-and I wasn't sure bout the whole 'footholds' thing-now I HATE ridin ski's w/o em!!!LOL

ive never even riddin another stand up b4...lol i bought this cause it looked fun and i already had a blaster turns out SU's are my true love ive never glassed b4 either so well see how that goes tommorow ill be in cali thursday to try them out in the surf if thier done in time YIKES....let you know how they feel

That sucks that you had to clearence the hold to fit the pipe. Keep up the good work though. Footholds will make riding much more fun and give you that nice added feature of control of the tray.

my foot doesnt even reach were the pipe is and i wear 11's these holds must be made for size17 feet lol thanks for the props it was your post that made me get these i do think i will like them

How long did it take you to get them?

i havent glassed them yet but took about 4 hours of total work..i had to cut them down to fit but no biggy i dont think the glass will take long i just fear turfing them

i think he meant how long did it take you recieve the footholds form waterdawgs. If not thats what i wanna know.

ummm 7-9 days maybe a little long but not too long he sent them without me paying im gonna send him a money order hes seem real nice but kinda busy or forgetful i dunno he got me my stuff and i was happy

the engine rebuild went good on the blaster....good compression i broke something electrical though while doing the rebuild.....no spark now but compressions good oh well no time for that ski right now gotta get the sxr ready for surf........still got your number definantly give you a call its looking like saturday may be my only free weekend day (the 12th) i def want to do something then but maybe some other day too see how things go ill give you a call man

Have a helper when U do the turf! It makes it a lot easier.
