Got pissed off and ripped it off. I tried head, didn't notice a difference.

Going to heat everything accordingly and re glass with extra hardner. I really wasn't pleased with how it was curing... Hopefully this round goes better. I'm only going to use the 12oz biax this time.

When I went to buy a new bulb for my 250w security lamp (the yellow squares like above) the bulb was $7.00. A new lamp with bulb was only $10. Now I have 2 lamps ad 1 bulb. Damn...

Not the same stuff and not the same quality from my experience.. I've tried all the ebay epoxy laminating resins.. I bought the 3 gallon package from orionspyramid guy.. I've done my own tests and West was the best for strength and flexibility, US composites was 2nd and orionspyramid was last IMO. I did tests laminating the same schedule and thats what i came up with.. Thats using those 3 epoxys I just mentioned..

I was rebuilding a big part of a wrecked 40' "Skater" speed boat($800,000 new boat), and me and the owner did the tests together... I was laying 3 gallons of epoxy resin a day for weeks rebuilding that thing.. We used epoxy because thats what the customer(owner) wanted. The West was superior, but yes it costs more..

For the price, US composites epoxy is good strong stuff IMO. The ebay stuff is ok too for the price. I used US epoxy for reinforcing my SJ.

Looking at my resin out in the garage, I noticed an error on my part.
What I have here is NOT the Orion's Pyramid resin you are talking about. I Have had that stuff, too, and did not like it.
What I have been using for a while is sold by Aero Marine Products.
I'll put that up against West Systems any day. Same stuff, imho.
