Rejetting Question

i just purchased new jets and springs for my dual 38 carbs to run with my factory pipe. i know how to replace the jets, but how do i replace the spring? is it hard? any special tools needed? any help is appreciated.

No special tools other than making a pop off pressure tester. Read the Mikuni manual and look at the exploded parts diagram, this will also help you in your tuning.

Just look under 'watercraft'.

It takes longer to remove the back plate off the carb than it does to replace the spring. You just need a puny phillips head screwdriver to release the spring.

when i did my install i just put on the jets thats all i got from factory pipe. do i need other things to

i also put in 95g silver spring factory on mine is 115 gold

if it has the plugs for the adjustment screws you will want to purchase a set of t handles for tuning. if you do have the plugs let me know because i purchased a set of t handles from jetworks and i don't need them. i will sell them for the same price i paid plus shipping. they are 12.99 plus tax each. like i said i don't need them and they are brand new.
