just put a protec rec head on my 61x and tryed to use the stock exhaust bracket to mount my riva red and the bolt holes dont line up... searched on Pro-Tec but they didnt have any. what do i use?!?!?:banghead: :banghead:

the protec heads are drilled and tapped for their pipes only really.

you might have to make a bracket to mount the pipe to them.

Posted this in another thread... somebody used to make a bracket just for that. Here is a ski I sold recently that had a Pro-Tec head and a Riva Red pipe. Sorry, dont know where you can get one now??? But they did exist...

Tell you what... I'll trade you a stock head for your protec head just so you can get it running... haha J/K.

I had a protec head and it used the stock mount? I'm not sure why yours isn't working.

They have like three diferent rec heads with diferent exhuast options.

we just did the opposite...we had a protec pipe and riva head...we just made a mount
