Primer Kits

The choke cable on my SJ is not hooked up. It usually starts O.K. after a few cranks, sometimes quite a few cranks, but it starts.
Should I buy a primer kit for it? How do they work?

i would get a primer kit, just to save your battery and starter's life

squirts fuel into your carb and yes well worth it I no longer run batteries dead LOL

plus you look cool at the ramp when your ski fires up 1st try...instead of someone lafing at one of those old time ski-doos that take 10 trys to fire..

Just ordered one off eBay. Thanks for the info.
I need a Superjet glossary or something; I just don't know a lot of the terms yet and don't have a manual or anything to identify parts, etc.
