yeah what i thought at that perticular point in the exhaust styeme, ive got the sheet of foam setting on some saw horses useing it as a make shift table to cut my biax on, ive set a cup of resin on it, when it starts getting hot it will start to kind of melt a lil
ya I will just a little but for the most part if I mix my resin hardener rich then the curing resin gets hotter than that part of the pipe. unless you are racing full out it isn't going to get very hot. While riding reach in and feel your long rubber tube or the metal where that connect before going through into your tray. it is little more than warm. you would have a hard time melting butter at that point. On top of that every time you fall or stop that fills with water and cools it completely. I have no worries about it.
