Oh, a wise guy! J/K but hadn't run across that one yet. Grease on the inside is widely accepted though, not in question to me.

I put a tiny bit of yamabond on the lip for extra protection. grease the inside real good.

Same here. Grease the seal lip. yamabond the case area where the seals sit and drop in the crank.
