group k sleeper kit
lightened fly 2deg adv. timing, decked head, 160 psi, coffman sizzler pipe, stock water box, msd enhancer
dual 38's 75/140 65g 1.5ns 30 pop
up till this time running great.
pipe is now running hot enough I hear it boiling in the chamber and the rubber exhaust after the water box melted my return gas line (since put sheathing around). It's never run this hot. Good water flow out of both pissers. I had a flow valve in (from head pipe to stinger) and figured it was restricting too much. I took the flow valve completely out and ran straight line, tried it again and it's still way too hot. Water temp is 83 deg in lake. Engine is running good, plugs look good. I don't think it's an engine issue causing heat, but I'm no expert. Only thing I've done recently is ordered one of the pisser back flush kits. I have dual pissers and one of the pissers is too small for the second flush fitting, so instead of getting a different one or drilling it out I just crimped the second and only ran one (the one going to the head). I've included 2 pics of my water line routing. Anybody see anything a miss or any ideas?
