SX/SXi/SXi Pro pad replacement....

Im getting my ski ready for footholds. I got the tray stripped down and the old pad removed. Does anyone know a good chemical to remove the glue from the tray after the foam is removed? I cant even scrape the crap off with a razor blade, Its like a thick tacky goo. Ive tried brake cleaner, carb cleaner, acrosolve, gasoline, heat, and mineral spirits/paint thinner with no luck.

don't bother with the normal stuff, successful methods are:
3m adhesive remover +soaking+time+patience+razor blade
Eraser Wheels

I wonder if freezing it and scraping it off with a paint scraper would work, I'm talking FREEZE like dry ice of liquid nitrogen

Ill try some 3m adhesive remover tonight, thanks for the suggestion. I found that as a tip for removing decal glue but didnt know if would be strong enough for this job.
I have a tank of R12 that would work for freezing but I dont think the ozone would be very happy about it lol.

just glue over it. Weldwood is the poop

Im looking to get it all off so I have a clean slate to start putting in holds later this winter. whatever that stuff is it holds great though, I cant see how a mat could pull up from it. I had to cut the glue from the mat every 1/8 inch or so and its still super tacky. I think the previous owner put that mat on several years ago. Ive owned it for two years now.
