Octane Octane single carb

So i put a polaris single carb manifold on my octane , using 700 manifold and 42mm keihin. Did any one make an adapter for a kawaski 650 to fit so i could put a mikuni carb?

why do most freeride freestyle boats use a single carb, the stock carbs are junk the single 42 keihin works way better why do they make an adapter to put a single mikuni on a 62t using a 650 manifold

check with Randy at Watcon, he had some single carb conversions.

I would look at a larger carb though.

you can't combat port timing with a higher velocity intake. complitment what the motor does, not try to make it do something it doesn't do. also, most freeride boats don't have single carbs. there's some, but none around me.

Actually, there are alot that run singles. Just not around you.

i know there's a lot of people that run them. my point was merely it's not good to try and force a motor to do what it doesn't want to do. as much as i don't want to admit it. stock form, the poolaris motor will never hit like a yamaha with any mods. short of TL. you might gain a little bottom end with a single carb, but the midrange and top end would be god awful. best thing i've done so far for low end was getting off a little over a pound on my flywheel. then carbs, then dry pipe, then 1200 domes, then vforce reeds. in that order.

i just had that 42mm carb extra and the manifold in stock off a 700 polaris i just tried that set up what i want is a 1/2 inch adapter like they use on the exaust side just like the one i use on my 62t motor with a 46 blackjack on it. i do have v force 3 reeds that i got off the snowmachine for 1/2 the price who would have thought. i have dual novis 46mm sitting here. but i would like a low maintence freeride snappy boat im not a racer
