This is a quick video from the 13 minutes of riding i was able to get in yesterday before I lost spark after landing a barrel roll. I just got my new Go pro Wide angle camera and had rigged up my helmetcamera higher than I belive most do to get the OZfreeride on board type of shot. I learned I have to secure the tower bracket from rotating after impacts with tape or something. and I need to try a better coat of Rain X on the lense.
Anyways it was a fun quick morning with Randy Laine, Yamaha Bob Capperauld, and my brother philip.
Here goes nothin,

isnt it funny how it always seems like even if there is just one water spot on the lense it seems like it finds a way to be in the way of a shot......

That was cool Mark! Is the poor quality from Vimeo?
Im not sure yet John, Im actually paying to be a plus member with high video storage and upload size limit. So the video was uncompressed maybe it was the weather, water dropplets, or a setting i looked past on the camera. Im not sure yet that was the first go.

Good job putting the visor in as a point of reference, w/o a point of reference POV is usually disconcerting.
Thank you that is actually really good to know.

your rolls look so much better since i saw you at daytona
Thanks Eric, Daytona was the first time i was really able to ride that ski longer than 15-45 minutes. I've had more ups and downs since then but my ride time has gone up considerably not that im not in high school and my schedules more flexible.

The bigger screen makes the quality look worse...

Try a little "Rain-X" on the lense. Works on my camera...kinda like a wax and keeps the droplets off. should be able to get it at pepboys.

Big screen as in the wide angle being so high or so much now in the picture, That or I just made embedded video size too big.

The thing that bugged me is I did rain X the case lens the day before, I only did one coat of it though, so i will try another and then a friend also said car wax, I need the water to bead off without having to do 70mph to do so.

Actually, Rain-X is the wrong direction... you WANT the lens to be fully wet ALL the time. There are some things you can do to help with that. I ride O-Side early week days and early some Saturdays - catch me there and I can share a few trade secrets.

Thanks FX yeah I have to promote myself and the sport if these videos go any further than just this site. Thanks again.
