NO spark need suggestions quick so I can ride today

one of my vxr ran last weekend but was week just ideal so I rebuilt the carb but then it wouldn't start I had t replace the cyliond ans it turns over fine now but there is NO spark! just process of elimination I changed the plugs, tried a coil form my other ski, and then a CDI form the other ski
at this point I am at a loss to what else to try and the girls want to ride this afternoon only thing I didn't replace was the voltage regulator bu that should just be for charging and I do hear a clicking like the spark arching but it just isn't there
if some one has some suggestions ???

did you try disconnecting the black/white s/s switch connector?

no just disconnect the black and the white wires (I assume there the kill switch) and try it?

just tried disconnecting those two wires and still have no spark

did you double check all of your grounds?

if you hear the arc of something sparking, its probably another bad/semibad coil.

try cranking the engine in a dark room/garage and look to see if theres sparking going on outside of the boot or wire insulation.

...also, check the black wire in the stator harness for being burnt.

ive also seen that the red/brown from the switch need to be unhooked and jumped togather

thats typical if the engine isnt cranking over, but if its cranking, the brown and red are being closed.

couldnt hurt to try though.

None of the wires going to the stator look brunt , The other coil may be going bad I don't know but it still starts the other ski after I put it back in there so I figure it should have started this one to:banghead:

make sure that your 2 white wires arent reversed in the electric box
