New to forum with sn opinion

Well this is my first post been reading and searching it for a while now. I've learned a lot but on the fence on what to do next. After riding a 93 750sx for a year I was able to find a 92 square this past spring. I sold my sx a few weeks ago due to the fact after getting a sn the sx just sat. It's a 92 all stock besides ride plate and Solas impeller. I am picking up a 61x this next week and I've got a few different options. 1 would be put in the 701 buy an exhaust and different cdi then paint turf etc over the winter. Choice 2 just sell what I've got and hope for a decent deal on a round nose over winter. I've never actually rode 1 so I'm still undecided. I figure paint, turf, exhaust, cdi I'm going to have close to $1500 in it. I should be able to find a round nose for around 3k in my area or 1 state away. What would you do especially if you have rode both?

I usually ride smaller lakes sometimes the biggest wake I can catch is from my own boat and it's only 18ft

If there are no other riders in your area, I would do the few mods you listed already and keep that ski as a backup or for friends. Nothing like riding alone on a lake.

Usually i throw it in the bed of my truck and take it when I take the boat out. It ends up me riding it around when my friends are just floating around the sandbar. I've got a zxi900 also so I've always got at least 1 other person with me

That's exactly how I started out. I had a Seadoo GSXL and then picked up a 92 Superjet that had already been swapped over to a 701 with a Coffman Sizzler pipe. I added an 06 SXR to the fleet but still loved riding that old Superjet.

I had a Gsxl that my wife rode and I had a 96xp sold them for a boat. That's how I got into standups it was the only thing that was easily loaded into truck bed. I will probably start looking for an exhaust for it. Don't really want to pay big bucks for 1 so factory pipe might be out.
