Custom/Hybrid My progress on the 300sx build

I am using a made to fit 650 x2 pump. I am also using the stock outlet that I added a hose to at the rear to make it flush in the back. The pole was cut 2" when I got it. So I added 5" to it so it would mount at the nose and not be so far forward when ridin it. If ya look at my build pics you can see how I did the pole. thanks for all the feed back. I would also like to know why the exhaust didn't work well. Is it because of the size of the pipe?

I think you will find your pole is to long and make sure you reinforce the sides as they will crack as they are thin. looking good though!

That pole is way too long, you will find out once you ride it, with these skis you have to get your weight way up front or they ride nose high and you will never be able to recover from landings. I will post a pic of where my steering ended up at for reference. Also I am not sure what you did on the rear exhaust but basically the whole stock setup needs to go and be replaced with a 2" tube straight out the back.

That ski is lookin pretty cool. A couple years ago i could of got a free complete mint 300sx that hasnt been tagged since the early 90's, but at the time i had no idea what i would do with it...looks like you can turn them into pretty bada$$ skis.

I put mine as far forward on the hull as it would go and still be able to turn the bars without hitting the hood.

Now you need to ditch those bars for straight bars and you will have it. I have some new gas tanks that would work perfect in that ski and use stock pickups.
