I have a total loss analog set up on my ski. It was running fine for a few weeks then i was only getting a spark after i let go of the ignition. i have found some postings with this same issue but not a answer to why it is actually happening. if anyone could help me out that would be great.

thanks

try disconnecting your killswitch and see if that fixes it. I don't know much about total loss but I have heard of people having a similar problem with faulty killswitches.

There are several things with total loss, as stated grounds are very important, clearance between the flywheel and pickups is also critical.

By ignition do you mean the start button ?

I believe you can also disconnect the pickups and short the two pickup wires together and release them, it should spark each time you do this as you are making and breaking the circuit, if it does not spark then you have serious issues, if it does spark when you short the wires together you have issues with the pickups, magnets or clearance between the pickups and magnets.
