When turning the rev limit to the max 9k rpm, do you turn the set screw clockwise or counterclockwise?

I think it is all the way out counterclockwise, but I just want to make sure.

not really an issue, unless you hold it WOT on the trailer.. and I do that too.

depending on how its propped and setup, it wont over rev at all.

ive never had any issues of that sort, Ketsair makes fun of me, I hold it down on the trailer first start of the day, or blowing the water out.

its never blown my junk up ( yet)

in the water for sure though, its a non issue.

Yeah I just turned it in and found the couple thousand rpms I've been missing. Man do I feel stupid, but there was nothing in the instructions online that said about which way to turn it. I wouldn't hold it all the way in on the trailer for the first or the last start of the day. Hard on crank bearings.

yeah, im sure these cranks from the early 90s will eventually go, could be the high rpms , or the cheap oil mixed with good oil, or could be mixed cases, or the crappy tuning.

heck, they could just blow from old age.

either way, I hate rev limiters.
