More steering out of SXR

I want to get more steering out of my SXR. Can anyone show me how they cut up the nozzle so it moves farther? How do you stop 'blow by'?

Show me your setups.

Is there an aftermarket nozzle that gives more steering?

Hey bud I added more throw by chopping half moons into my turn nozzle for when they stop at the reduction nozzle.. Also I'm not sure about your steering but my kawi setup had a moveable pivot on the bars. Can send you pics later if needed.

I miss my SXR. I am at the point, I could just about trade my SJ for a good limited SXR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are days where I just want to rip turns.

Yup. Half moon the steering nozzle on each side and install as adjustable turn plate.

anyone got a link or pic of the position/size of the 1/2 moon's ? im guessin a dremel and a sharpie is all ya need to make that happen

Got a SJ steering system on top...just need more throw out of the bottom. Anyone have pics of the moon cuts? Does it cause any blow-by?

Looked at mine today and tried to get you some pics. I did not have to moon cut my nozzle. I just ground out the inside ring to get maximum throw with my steering setup. Sorry for the crappy picks but I don't have time to take it apart for proper pics. There is no concern with blow by for the steering nozzle long enough and covers far back on the reduction nozzle
