Hey all,
My friends kawasaki impeller is scraping the housing.
Can I grind this or do I need a new housing?
He got the ski for about 200 and he doednt really want to put too much into it.

Thanks all

P.S. Its a kawasaki 750 ts

You need a new housing except the 750 ones aren't like the yamaha ones - bearings and what not are part of the housing. They are pretty expensive to replace with new - find a used one or see if you can find someone that does remans

He can recondition Kawi pumps for much less than buying one new. I just got my 650 pump back from him and I'm completely satisfied. I was going to post a thread on it but I've been too lazy.

He replaced my pump liner and my bearings and shipped it back to me for a good price. He even accepted a pump core to bring the price down a bit AND he let me ship the props to him to check the clearances and told me which prop to use and which to send to Impros. Great Guy. A+

if it is just barely scraping, you can sand it. Cover the inside housing with lipstick or something, then spin the blade. As it scrapes it will remove the lipstick, and you can tell where it is touching, then sand off lightly until it spins free.
