All mine are here in one group shot...The stands under the GSXL and the SXR are both homemade out of 2" black iron weld-on fittings found on the shelf at work.

I just made mine out of 2" pvc. It doesn't have wheels though. I don't think the pvc is sturdy enough for wheels, works great as long as u don't want to be moving it around. I just back my truck up to it and slide the ski in the truck.

Steves cart is nice but i bet it cost just as much to build that one as it would to just buy one...

i was looking at building them and selling them, i was offering them at what i thought would be my cost and there wasnt enough interest to start making them

http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/49923

the price of this type of material has risen, its alumnium profile so that raw material has shot through the roof

im possibly looking at making a different version, if i get time i will

i didnt think around $250 was too bad and i could sell them in kit form to keep the shipping cost down

I know the new ones are around $200. Unfortunately for broke azzes like me I have to rock the home made wood stands...

I did get luck and pick up a couple used stands for cheap that will get me by for now though.

That looks good, plus you get the added shelf for storing your hood. I like to store my skis with the hoods off and never have anywhere safe to store the hood.

My home away from home.
Here's the random collection that sits in the garage. The first was a freebie and also my favorite. The second was also a freebie that used to hold couches, but the designer for some reason drilled some holes at 12" Cool guy... The pvc one sits in the water, on the beach, and screwed onto the freebie furniture mover when in the garage. Whatever fits into my nonexistent budget works the best for me.
