I've F-ing had it!!!!!

You'll be wrenching on a new SJ too...I got rid of my Kawi 750 to get a new SJ hoping I would be riding more and wrenching less. Yeah right. Thats just part of it.

Ha I did the 550 thing too. I bought my SJ last winter and lets just say I have hardly had to pick up a tool since. there is no comparison between the 550 and a superjet. mine has run like a champ all summer with a minimum of problem. Its so nice to actually be able to ride...

not riding this season

I have encountered several problems with my engine this year and it would have been a very short season of riding if I had not been smart enough to arrange for " The BACKUP-SKI " and its just a Stock SJ 650 with a pipe, but it runs, certainly not as good as my 701 but I learned to manage, and the good thing is once you get your primary one back running you will be blown away....

It makes you a happy rider and a happy wrencher cause you are not desperate to get your ski going all the time, the xtra $$ for the backup ski is well worth it.

my "back up ski" is a couch. A 95 Polaris SL750. It's the only ski I've ever been around that always runs.

no, you need a back up stand-up. I am looking ot get a new primary ski for this same reason. I will us the current sj asa backup, keep the 650 sx for friends, and get a built 701 for primary. If oyu have never ridden a sj, you should...i made teh switch without ever riding one and god do i love it. Haven't had to do anything to it but charge the battery. no matter what you buy wrenching is part of life, it sux but one of those nec. evils associated with the sport.
