Didn't quite know where to post this, but here it is.

A while back, I picked up a 1993 with under 5 original hours. Been in climate controlled storage for the past 17 years. Just an incredible find. Here is a pic of it:

Well, for a number of years, I'd been trying to get my hands on that ski AND AND AND a like new with about the same hours. Only problem, they left gas in the tank and it's brown. BUT, I got a spare tank for it that's like new.
Anyway, here is the TWIN, and I did finally get her. Finally. Dug her out of storage for these pics. About 5 hours or so on it, stored 17 years indoors air conditioned, and I have the original MSO that has NEVER been assigend. Ever. Here is the pic:

One more.
Tonight, I'll give her a well deserved bath and a wax, and maybe wet sand out a couple of scratches below the bondline from a pallet it was sitting on. Been a while. Time to freshen the girl up a bit.

The first one does.

The one I got today I'm going to soak the cylinders, etc etc. It appears it was fogged, as they did with the other one as well.
The only difference is that they didn't drain all the fuel out of the tank on this one.
If I get some time, I'll probably have this one running next week sometime.

It's like reading about some old guy dieing and then they find this old, mint Bugatti in his garage. Nice find(s)! :hail:

Hmm... the shape of the hull reminds me of a lot of the aftermarket hulls we see today....

Got engine pics?

Yeah, they were way ahead of there time when they came out. Pretty cool back then.
I don't know what they weigh, but I know Terry WFO knows quite a bit about them.
I'm assuming he'll chime in here sometime this weekend.
I'll post some motor pics later.

Yeah, I think I have some. I'll post them this weekend.
Been raining like heck here since I got home, so I haven't been to the shop yet to do anything tonight at all.

I'm not gonna kiss and tell on this one. Took me about 4 years of begging and pleading to get my hands on it all.
It was reasonable. Everyone involved was happy.
...and in exchange I get to be the curator of some pretty fine collectibles.
