Here are the 62T stator specs.

Charge coil (brown/white to black ground) 497.7 to 608.3 Ohms (at 68F)

Pulser coil (red/white to black ground) 12.6 to 15.4 Ohms (at 68F)

Lighting coil (green to green) 1.14 to 1.40 Ohms (at 68F)

The pulser coil specs are the same for the 61x stator but the other two specs are a bit different.

Just attach one lead of your ohm meter to the red/white wire and the other end to black ground wire.

If it's good the ohm-meter should read right between 12.6 to 15.4 Ohms (at 68F)

Be sure and take into account the lead resistance of the meter before checking low resistance values. Some meters with cheap or older leads can have significant resistance which can throw off your readings. Just set the meter to the lowest ohms scale, probably 200 ohms. Short the leads and you should get very close to zero ohms. It is not unusual to get .5 ohms or more internal resistance. Just subtract the internal lead resistance from your reading when testing the coils and you will have a more accurate result. If the pulse coil is bad you can order it separately to fix up that stator. Here is the page from the SJ manual, if the coils are out of tolerance then they might have internal shorts and will need to be replaced.
