We have so much friggin pollen in the water out here this year...after my subs and face plants yesterday I feel like the guy in the Noesynephrin commercial today. I'm thinking maybe a bronze deep sea diving helmet would do the trick.

We have the same thing, pollen is out of control this year. Its dying off now thankfully.

Every Friday my white boat (not ski) greets me with a nice yellow line down it... And the blue cockpit cover is more of a nasty yellowish/green/brown.

You just get used to the water going in your nose and after a few trips out it occurs less but still happens.

Eventualy you just sling the snott and keep riding like nothing happened

This holds true for any water sport :woot:

I take so much water up the nose while wakeboarding it's unreal. I am trying to learn to bearfoot ski, and the 1st time I tried it, I got so much water up my nose, I started to gag. Nasty! Also, falling off the wakeboard and smacking the side of my head on the water and forcing that water in my ear is one of the most painful things I've ever expieranced.

There is absolutly nothing you can do about it short of wearing ear plugs and nose plugs. It's part of the game. You hit the water 20 MPH face 1st, the only place it has to go is up your nose, and no amount of breathing out is going to make up for that.

Learn to fall. Just like tuck and roll. Try to take the impact with something other than your face to slow you down, or land backwards. That's all you can do.
