Was at the lake today coming back from a 'tour the lake' ride and was not on my SXR but on the neighbors SXR thats identical to mine other than water box, frt exhaust outlet, and short ride plate. I see 2 decent size Sea-Ray cuddy cabin boats coming at me and the are side by side-but a good bit of distance between them. Oh yeah, and my helmet is in the back seat of my truck. So I stay between the paths of the 2 boats and catch my first real double up wake-HOLY SHEIT BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freaked me the kcuf out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that dam SXR that weighs bout 3 tons shot straight up like it was shot out of a cannon and had almost 0 forward momentum-I got closer to a backy than I have ever been-I AINT SAYIN I BUSTED 1-but got dam close. The really cool part was I was relaxed cuz I expected her SXR to plow through the wakes w/the stk ride plate on it and by the time I got it upside down I remembered NO HELMET!!! So I then yank the bars REAL hard to try to finish rotation and face planted it into the lake.

It was an accident-but I now think it is possible to bust a backy on my SXR like it is with the right double up wake. Sooooooo, andbody wanna go buy 2 big azz boats just so I can learn to bust a backy???LOL LOL LOL
U guys have all been so cool w/yer input on my threads and keep me reaching for the moon. I can't wait till Lanier 07!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU ALL 4 KEEPIN ME PUSHIN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just ride
The double up wake is definetly way different from anything else. After you jump it you give Malone more props for doing barrel rolls off the wake and landing straight. The wake makes your ski wanna turn in the air half the time, I couldn't imagine rolling off that wake and landing straight without a lot of effort.

Good job getting that ski halfway around without tryin. I you got it that far without expecting it, imagine how far you could get if you trying to crank on it and even if you had a trim system......

I've always wanted to hit a double up between 2 huge boats, my brother knows two people with sea rays I've been trying to get him to talk to them about but his ski is out of commission. Hopefully next year I'll be able to try one!

Soundin good though Gil, I followed a couple of your threads and you seem like ya got some ballz on ya, Keep it up and lets see that SXR backflip!
