Hi guys, do this cable can be removed towards the front of the ski or it has to be done towards the back?

Why?
Maybe l should not have said it "Has" to pulled this way....
l won't sit here and say cause thats the way l always have one it (l have).But seems like its a better way to feed it up thru the engine compartment and up the pole.

Have done it both ways many of times. Last one I did, we were at the ocean trying to fix fast, we taped the the new cable to the old broken cable and pulled/pushed it right threw, one guy at both ends. Had it fixed in no time.

How do you get the rubber seal that goes into the PVC fitting out if you are pulling towards the front?
Take a small screwdriver and carefully pop the seal out of the white fitting. Then remove it from the rear of cable along with cable end and all fittings. Then slide cable out.
