How to carbon reinforce?

I'm completely tearing my 750 down to paint it. Sould I reinforce it and where do you get the stuff to do it. Also I'm sure now is the time to put footholds in?

If you are a flat water guy you really don't need to reinforce, The Kawis hull is plenty strong. footholds area must.

Those tubes are kind of a pain to get out if you decide to do footholds. Check out this thread for some pics of a Kawi 750 we cut apart to install holds.

Yes, do all the glass work now while it's torn down. It never hurts to reinforce the hull. I've seen them damaged. The nose and pole areas can use extra reinforcing, too. They tend to crack in the angled corners along the pole mount lip on both sides. If you get footholds, the tubes need to say bye-bye, but that gives you a reason to ditch the side pads, and turf the tray. This will make your tray feel a lot wider, and give you more room than a RN superjet.

Start a build thread, and follow through with pictures. It's a nice way to show off what you're doing, and get help along the way. Everyone likes a creative build ( and hates it when they just stop mid build for no reason ).
