How do you Tow a superjet??

How do you tow a superjet with no one on it and not sink it? Tried towing mine in behind a boat this weekend and it just went down so I had to ride on it while getting towed. thanx

hahah yeah i figured out the same thing a few weeks ago.. i was riding in the cove beside me.. ski dies, no resurve tank... had to swim it to the shore on the back skide of my cove, tided it to someones dock, ran up there driveway and down the road to my place, about 3/4 of a mile... drop the crotch in the water and drive around the corner to pic the ski up...
i did what you were trying just towig it with a rop, anyhitng over idel, the ski was going under... i had to tie the rope so short that the nose was actual tuching the back of the croutch, baby 1'' away. this way when the ski gets goinging the hull from the croutch pushed teh water down, and youy haev the SJ nose right theres. i kinda felt like i was one of the guys with that boogy board rafts out on the beach during a surfing contest...

how do you keep the ski from hitting the boat when you slow down?? Just sit backwards and put your feet on the nose?

I have an old pontoon paddleboat that I have hacked down to just the pontoons. After I finish up some other projects, I am going to convert this into a two-standup water trailer. It will also have room for a few gas cans, a small toolbox and a cooler.

As far as towing one with a rope, I agree with Darin.

There was some company I saw a while back that made a little raft thingy you slide the nose of the stand up ski up on and then the ski gets attatched to the little raft. It keeps the nose up out of the water and prevents it from sinking. Not sure who made it or how much it was, but seemed like something that could possibly be made at home with a little imagination.

I tie a superjet so the nose is just resting on the boarding step on my blaster.. sometimes i put 2- 5 gallon jugs of gas in the tray and sometimes i put the gas in the foot wells on the blaster.. with the gas on the blaster i can go pretty darn fast 30+ but when its in the SJ, the SJ wiggles all over the place and wants to tip over at like 15mph.. talk about a bitch reboarding in deep water.. you need to jump up the SJ,walk on the hood, jump on the seat bow legged to clear the gas jugs and go !!

sometimes, If i have an extra person in the boat, I hold the Sj really close to the boat and keep the nose high until we get moving, and slowly let out the line, which is already tied. If not, I just nail it and sometimes leave my bilges on.

lol.. i sware to god doing this once at windsor beach (Havasu).. about 300 yards out a party barge waved me over.. they were broke down, i had them throw me a line.. i wraped it around my waist and towed them in.. now that was a site !!

looking at post #2, if you are ever in the situation with a couch and and a stand up it is way easier to tow the couch with the stand up than the other way round.
