Just a quick note to say hi to all members of the x.

Having been introduced to the site by my younger brother (haggis) a few months ago i'v decided its time to get in on the action!

Just bought myself a bone-stock 03 Polaris Octane two days ago for the equivalent of $2800. Ski is mint but motor is tight from salt water. I reckon it should be worth $5000 running so even with a total rebuild i think i still got a good deal?

Thanks for the welcome. As for the ski - got the steering and pole mostly dissasembled last night to be cleaned up and should get the motor out today to see what the damage is. Get some pics while i'm there.

I know Fraserburgh pretty well. Lived 40mins down the road in Aberdeen for seven years.

Awsome ski, the hull is in great condition.

Weve had the privilage of knowing this ski from new and its a miracle that its in the condition it is!!!!

The first owner had no clue and completly wrecked the engine and electrics and left it under a pile of tyres at only 3 years old, no joke!

We completly rebuilt the ski with and it was amazing how it cleaned up with no marks to the hulland felt like new. It was sold to a friend who wasnt hard on it at all but it sat over winter with a little salt water in the engine so thats where its at now.
