help with cooling lines

are you guys saying that the head gasket is the right one the holes came like that it fits the cylinders but the cooling passages were not their i am going in water this morining i have a new one coming to me anybody got a picture of 650 stock head gasket, i drilled holes so cooling water can go thru motor

Dog, looked to me like your head was also on backwards, that might explain your gasket dilema, the gasket must be oriented correctly. I have one I can photo with the arrows if you need it.
hey crab going to pick up new head gasket i am going to redo things today i will post pictures before i intstall thanks guys for your help, i just looked at pictures on ebay and my gasket looks the same , if i installed gasket wrong way the cooling passages could be in the wrong place???

I am using OEM gasket now and the X2 is running good. Just a little dead spot on top speed. What should the high speed carb screw be set at? BTW I really love the X2....

theres no magic setting. it depends on your jetting among other factors.

ideally, you want to be about 1 turn out. meaning, if everything is jetted properly and running smooth, you want about a turn out on both adjustors....this is a very general statement though.
