Is there anything that needs to be done tonight?!?!?

get a fuel sample into a GLASS container. you will clearly be able to see if you have water in the fuel because water is heavier than gas, and will settle in the bottom of the jar. try to get the sample from the bottom of your tank.

id siphon ALL the fuel from the tank and start with fresh. do you have the rubber gasket that seals the fuel cap? does your ski still have the fuel/water separator still hooked up? that thing, if memory serves me correct vents to the outside and could be letting water into your fuel.

could be wrong, or you could have just gotten some bad gas. either way, good luck.

Thanks for the reply.

I still have the separator hooked up. It was about 1/3 full of water. Yes I also have the rubber seal on my gas cap.

I was just wondering if there is anything important I should be doing now to save my motor? I know if you suck in a bunch of water its important to get it out asap to save the crank. THere seems to be very minimal water inside but I dont want to go to sleep if my crank is rusting to pieces.

you could fog the motor, but best bet is to get some good fuel into there ASAP and run the motor for about 20-30 minutes to get all the water out. might be kinda hard though at 3am.

i would ditch the fuel/water separator. its prob. the cause for your contaminated fuel. i would remove all that crap up to the one way valve. definitely leave the one way valve there.
