Get a WDK Chinpad or strip oem pad and Turf

and buy a wdk chinpad 155

or take oem chinpad remove pad and turf with no fiberglass just turf to plastic.

I think the WDK chin pad is great, much stronger than the stock crap.
Mine has come in contact with my head many times and not a scratch on the chin pad.
The head,.....not so good.

I like going cheap whenever I can nowadays.
If you're worried about strength, beef up the stocker with glass.

$100+oem=155 for wdk

turf 45$ sheet
glue 5
still might break off plastic during sub or helmet
kinda getto

so i think ill spend the 50$ and have a good pad
so its on ebay if you wanna buy my oem

I only ride surf. What is this "chin pad" you speak of? I know nothing of the sort. Haven't had a chin pad since i changed the pole. I'd get the carbon fiber one for sure if i had money though...something incredibly strong to withstand the surf.

Aftermarket chin pads are nice, but the extra padding on a stocker is great for flatwater if you dont want to wear a helmet all the time.
But your right they do absorb lots of water and get heavy. Also they are flimsy too as mentioned.

Turf the stocker for now. Something tells me a run of carbon chinpads at a great price will come over winter.

funs over i bought a 160 wdk and will get it thur and have my stocker on ebay.
