gas tank vent question

No check valve on the return line, and yes on the vent. You want air to go in as fuel goes out, and not let air/fumes back out.

If you do this, bew aware that if that check valve ever goes bad (rarely, but it happens).... gas can flow *out* of that line if you're doing tricks, and into your hull.

I had some of those molded oil tank vent tubes laying around ao I used one of those on top of my check valve.

It has been working great so far, only thing is the hood has been catching when I go to hook it in. I keep it tucked under the fuel lines exiting the pickup now.

my fuel return line keeps popping off the nozzle. Whats the best way to attach it to the tank without it leaking or coming off. it just has a little hose clamp holding the line to the nozzle right now and it sucks.

Edit: went to autozone got some plastic nozzles. drilled the hole so one would fit really tight. epoxied it in really well. its longer and has ridges which give the gas line and clamp something to grip onto. problem solved,.
